A "lifestyle shoot" In the terms of being an image that tells a story, that portrays the object of well... living. As we are all here to be a 'product' and show our model skills and diversity... I find it a little difficult to bring someone out of that already preconceived image of modeling into something that just is. I understand face shots, body shots, etc need to be a product to sell but showing also the life behind your eyes, in motion or thought, also is portraying a product.
So, I guess my thought is to keep moving, keep breathing. The image is not flat, there are so many ways to develop the relationship between yourself and the camera. Let the photographer do their job and honestly... just be. There is nothing you can portray that you already don't have and if you don't have that.. well then, find what you do have.
